A new name, brand strategy and visual identity rooted in this recording studio’s commitment to their Takoma Park, Maryland neighborhood and the Mid-Atlantic music community.

A range of possible names were generated through a collaborative naming workshop. Charting prospective names against the four quadrants of location, service, aspiration and abstraction helped to narrow the focus. The subsequent naming recommendations document combined front-runner names with possible alternates and available URLs.

An all-hands brand workshop provided space for the team to determine their defining characteristics, shared mission and vision for the future.
